"I have an AC sprain right on my right shoulder," Moore said of his injury. "It's basically like a sprained ankle. It shouldn't take long to heal and I should be back by the end of the week."
"I've been icing it 4-5 times a day and getting treatments and I'm making progress each day," he continued. "By the end of the week we'll see where I'm at."
Moore, a redshirt-sophomore out of Charlotte's Butler High School, has played sparingly during his stint at Wake Forest partly due to injury but is being counted on for production this season for the Deacs.
"I'm ready and I'm looking to get a good game feel, good game experience this year," Moore said. "I'm ready, I'm confident. I've got some experience under my belt and I'm ready to show people what I can do."
While the question still remains as to whether the Deacon wide receivers can step up and provide the necessarily production to take Wake's offense to the next level, Moore believes that the receiving corp should be productive this year.
"The wide receivers are looking good," he said. "We're going to be good. We're still young, we've got one senior. Through hard practices and just coming through and focusing every day and getting on one accord, we'll get real good chemistry with the quarterbacks we'll have a good season."
