Recruiting Update: Boo Williams Tournament

Some recruiting news from Day 1 of the Boo Williams Invitational basketball tournament.

At the Boo Williams Invitational in Hampton, Virginia, many of the top AAU teams around the nation are competing for a championship. Included in the field is the Kappa Magic, a squad from North Carolina that includes Reyshawn Terry and Chris Paul.

Inside Carolina has an article up on Terry's unimpressive performance last night as well as Terry's thoughts on his upcoming visit to UNC. It looks as if Reyshawn, one of the nation's top juniors and potentially the best prospect from the Tarheel state, is definitely a strong lean toward the UNC progam.

Our partners at IC also have their thoughts on Chris Paul, a local guard that the Deacs have already offered. Paul, noted for his passing, scored in double figures in his first game of the weekend, a win over the Georgia Elite.

For more on those two guys, check out Inside Carolina's Boo Williams update.

TheInsiders' Dave Telep, also attending the event, said that 6'7" junior Patrick Ewing, Jr., a teammate of WFU signee Chris Ellis, may be the best defender in the junior class. Look for "little" Ewing to make some big noise next year.

Also, look for an update on Monday from DeaconSports' David Hall who is slated to attend Boo Williams' weekend event.
