Wake Forest basketball signee Justin Gray performed well in Thursday's Jordan Brand Capital Classic All-Star Game in Washington, D.C.
Justin Gray put on a good performance Thursday night in the Capital Classic. As a guard for the Red Squad, Gray went 6-12 from the field and 5-8 from three-point land. He finished with 17 points on the night, the second leading scorer for his squad. Unfortunately, his Red Squad was hammered 167-121.
"Justin caught fire from deep in the third quarter," TheInsiders recruiting analyst Dave Telep said. "Everything he let go was going down. The problem was, his team trailed by about 50 at the time. It was your typical all-star game and I think Justin decided it was time he start putting up some shots. When he did, they went down to the tune of 17 points."
Amare Stoudemire and UNC's Sean May were named co-MVPs for the event.
