Morgan Sets Wake Visit

DeAndre Morgan is an exceptional athlete from the Sunshine State that has a good looking list of offers. As with most top players around the country, his phone has been busy this month.

"Coach Lubick of Ole Miss was the first school to call me," said Morgan. "Coach Orgeron also got on the phone to talk with me. I've also gotten phone calls from Coach Stroud at NC State, Coach Mack from Wake Forest, Coach Lilly at Florida State, Vanderbilt, Purdue, and Iowa State."

Morgan has been to one game already this fall, and he is taking in the showcase game in the SEC this weekend.

"The only game I've been to so far was to see my brother play at USF. I'm going to Gainesville this weekend to watch Florida vs. Tennessee." Morgan has set up several of his official visits already.

"I've gotten three of my official visits set. I'm going to Ole Miss on October 21st, West Virginia on December 2nd, and Wake Forest on January 7th. I'm also setting up a visit to NC State when they play North Carolina. My last visit is still up in the air. I'm hoping one of the three schools in Florida offers me. If they did, they would get my last visit."

Morgan's Suncoast team dropped a 21-6 game to Palm Beach Lakes last weekend.

"We're 0-2 right now. We were leading for three quarters, but they started to take advantage of our mistakes. I had eight tackles and an interception. We play Glades Central this Friday."
