Kinston, North Carolina native Jeremy Ingram is one of the state's top players. While attending Craig Dawson's former high school this past season, Ingram led Kinston to an impressive 27-4 record while averaging 17 points per game.
He shot 42% from three-point range on the season as well while shooting almost 80% from the line. While averaging 17 points, he also pulled down six boards per contest for Kinston.
Last year's Kinston team sent 6'8" Corey Rouse to East Carolina, 6'9" Herbert Hill to Winthrop, and 6'9" Dodson Worthington to Columbia University. With all that height and talent gone, Ingram will be asked to pick up his game during his senior campaign.
Wake Forest, NC State, Maryland, Charlotte and East Carolina are amongst the schools competing for his services. Wake Forest has not yet offered Ingram a scholarship.
