Stevenson Navigates In-Homes

There's not much new in the world of Perry Stevenson. The talented post prospect from Louisiana is taking his time with home visits and looking forward to setting up his official visit slate.

Perry Stevenson, Lafayette (La.) Northside's 6-foot-9 power forward, is moving along – visit by visit – through the in-home process. Unlike many of his peers, Stevenson is taking his time and has a very meticulous plan. First there are the home visits and upon completion of them (which is very soon) he'll set up his official visit slate.

Of his current list of Kentucky, Wake Forest, Miami, Georgia Tech, LSU and Texas Tech, only one program has a visit lined up.

"Right now I'm saying most likely Kentucky for the Midnight Madness thing but I'm not really sure," Stevenson said. Scout.com has been able to confirm that the UK visit date is for real and he's anticipated to be in Lexington for the event.

Stevenson thinks that he's going to spend a lot of time on the road in October checking out campuses. "I'm pretty sure that's how it's going to be."

As for the Wildcats, they've been long rumored to be a serious contender and Stevenson likes what he sees in Tubby Smith.

"Everytime someone mentions Kentucky, they mention Coach Smith and I'm assuming he must be pretty good. By the games they've won I'll assume he is too."
