Youngstown, Ohio native Terrence Graves is not only one of the top running backs in Ohio, but also the nation.
This past season, Graves had 105 carries for 1187 yards in 7 games - an impressive 10+ yards per carry.
Graves, a 6'2" 200 pound running machine, is receiving all kinds of attention from colleges of late. Coach Jim Grobe's staff got off to an early start on Graves, recruiting him during his junior season.
Although Graves listed Wake and North Carolina as favorites early in the recruiting process, he notes that he has not "heard from Wake Forest lately."
"Clemson, North Carolina, Ohio State, Virginia, Boston College, Iowa, Maryland, West Virginia, South Caorlina, UCLA, Louisville, Oklahoma and others are all recruiting me," Graves said.
So far, Graves notes that he has offers from Oklahoma and Virginia. Meanwhile, Louisville is expected to offer this week. At this point, Graves says he is still wide-open, however.
As to his best qualities on the field, Graves lists his "vision and footwork. I never worry about getting hit by the first tackler and always go for extra yards," he said. "I'm currently working on my breakaway speed and trying to cut down on nagging injuries."
Graves is not sure when he will have a decision reached as to his college future, but said that he wants to try to decide before the start of his senior season.
