However Wake Forest seems to be making a late appearance into his recruitment. With five recruits already set for Wake's class of 2006, could there be one more? Guillandeaux, of St. Patrick's HS in Elizabeth, NJ., recently got a call from the Demon Deacons.
"I got a call from Wake Forest too," Guillandeaux said. "They wanted me to come down on an unofficial to see them play Duke."
He said that he didn't know if he was going to go to the game yet because he has school the next day. But he did seem high on Wake Forest.
"The history they have with great players and stuff," he said. "[I like] their conference and their style of play too.
There is one school in particular that Guillandeaux likes right now, mainly because of their ties to the NBA.
"USC is my leader right now. Their coach coached in the NBA and he knows how to get players to that level."
Guillandeaux is currently averaging 14 points per contest. His team is 5-1, with the lone loss against Brandan Wright's Brentwood team.
