Wake Forest's football program has already been given a big boost out of this weekend's official visits. Even before the Deacs' showdown with Duke, two football prospects have already reportedly committed to Wake Forest.
On Sunday, two prospects gave the Wake Forest football program their verbal commitments. Jack Britt (NC) High School safety Alex Frye
and Robinson (VA) Secondary School running back/safety Lucas Caparelli
both reportedly committed to Wake Forest this weekend.
Frye, a 6'3, 195-pound prospect, committed to Wake Forest over offers from Virginia, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, East Carolina, and others. Caparelli committed to the Demon Deacons over offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Maryland, and others.
Several other prospects could also commit this weekend including Georgia safety DeRon Jasper. Stay tuned to DeaconSports in the coming days for more on these official visits and Wake Forest football recruiting.
