Tigers Pull Even For Godfrey?

Big tight end Dennis Godfrey arrived at this weekend Clemson committed to Wake Forest. He left with another leader joining the Deacons.

CUTigers.com caught up with Wake Forest verbal commitment Dennis Godfrey after his official visit to Clemson this weekend. The following information was revealed during the interview:

How was your official visit to Clemson this weekend Dennis?
Godfrey: I enjoyed it. It went very well.

What did you like the best about the visit this weekend?
Godfrey: Talking with Coach Bowden about football. Sitting beside him at the basketball game.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to ten?
Godfrey: I'd give it a 9.5.

Did the visit change your leader or favorites in the recruiting process?
Godfrey: Actually it did. I knew of Clemson, but I didn't really know about them until this visit. It really opened my eyes. I need to keep my eyes open about Wake since they were there for me first, but I really like Clemson.

Will you be taking any other official visits?
Godfrey: I am on my way to South Carolina now. I will go to Virginia next weekend. Then I go to Virginia Tech. I've got a couple of more visits left.

How did your exit interview with Coach Bowden go today?
Godfrey: It went well. He told me how important it is for them to find a tight end. He talked about how they use the tight end and I fit in well with what they need. I also might have opportunity to play some defense for them.

Godfrey was hosted this weekend by Antwon Murchison.
