"Seton Hall, Rutgers, UConn, Wake Forest, UMass, and Kentucky are some of the schools recruiting me," Bowers said. Bowers also said that Seton Hall, Rutgers, and UMass have all offered him a scholarship.
When asked what schools were recruiting him the hardest Bowers replied that "Seton Hall and Rutgers are showing the most interest." Bowers said that he has no favorite at this point, however.
His visit list is empty as well. While he is not sure when he will visit each school this summer, he does hope to visit each school on his list, eventually. "Hopefully I'll get to visit all of the schools I'm interested in. I'd like to get a chance to see them all."
Asked about his game on the court, Bowers noted that he was "good at driving to the hole" and has "an in-between game. I'm able to pull up. I'm also good at playing around the basket and scoring."
He continues to work vigorously on his game, however. "I'm doing well shooting outside the arc but I'm always looking to improve on that. I'm also working on improving my dribbling. I'd like to improve on everything, really."
This summer, Bowers has a busy schedule full of basketball. He plans on traveling on different AAU trips with the Tim Thomas Playaz. He will also attend the ABCD and Five Star camps as well as the USA Junior Olympics in Colorado. "I'm trying to get as much exposure as possible," Bowers concluded.
