The 5-foot-11 point guard is having a solid junior season and is sporting averages of 18 points and five assists per game. Franklin HS has only lost one game in Seattle and is expected to be one favorites when the tournament rolls around.
A number of schools have noticed Overton's improved play and he is starting to receive attention from schools all over the country. Among the schools recruiting him are Wake Forest, Washington State, Washington, Florida State and Arizona State.
Overton told DeaconsSports.com, Sunday night that he has no intentions of making a college decision any time soon. Right now Overton is focused on winning and playing in the playoffs.
