Rising Sophomore Mitch Mullis To Visit

Forsyth Country Day School rising sophomore Mitch Mullis has set up a visit to Wake Forest later this month. The 6-7 Mullis is one of the nation's top rising sophomores.

Winston-Salem, North Carolina forward Mitch Mullis is a prospect Coach Skip Prosser is checking into early in the recruiting process. Just a rising sophomore, Prosser and Company plan to host Mullis for an unofficial visit on Tuesday, June 25.

Mullis, a 6-7 215 pound prospect who benches around 225 pounds at this point, currently attends Forsyth Country Day School.

To date, a laundry list of schools have sent the sophomore-to-be letters including Wake, UNC, NC State, Temple, Arizona, Clemson, Purdue, South Carolina, Michigan, Kentucky, Old Dominion, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Davidson, Ferrum, and Furman. He has also spoken on the phone with Coach Bibby at Southern Cal and Wojo at Duke.

Currently, Mullis is at the UNCG team camp until Sunday. Next Wednesday, he leaves for the Nike Camp in St. Louis and will be coming home on the 23rd. He is planning on attending Skip Prosser Camp July 28-August 1 as well. At this point, Mullis plays his AAU ball with the NC Gaters U-15 squad and will continue to do so this summer.

As for other visits, Mullis visited N.C. State unofficially this past season at the UNC game as he got to sit behind the bench and got a tour of the campus from Coach Phelps at NCSU. He also plans to visit Clemson in the coming months as well.
