Jackson Camping At Wake

One of the top linebacker prospects from the Peach State among the Class of 2007 Is Kyle Jackson from McDonough (Ga.) Union High School. Last season as a junior Jackson recorded 110 tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, 12 pass breakups, 17 QB pressure, 6.5 sacks, two interceptions, seven forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

"I am big hitter out there," said Jackson. "I primarily play MIKE but also play SAM and WILL. I like being on the inside by myself. My biggest strength is covering ground sideline to sideline. I also play with a bad attitude and a chip on my shoulder. I have confidence and I back it up out there."

Although he doesn't have any scholarship offers at the moment teams like Georgia Tech, Georgia, Notre Dame, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Maryland, Wake Forest and Tennessee are showing a lot of interest in Jackson.

"I don't have any favorites right now but I like Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Vandy, Maryland Wake Forest and a bunch of others."

Jackson plans on camping at Alabama, Georgia, GT, Vandy, WF, and Notre Dame this summer. He has already been at junior days at Tennessee, Georgia, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Vandy, and is going to Notre Dame April 22nd.

It's been good experience so far because I got a good feel for many schools already."
