Sleeth Throws Two-Hit Shutout

Wake Forest pitcher Kyle Sleeth pitched a two-hit complete game shutout for the United States National Team in a victory over Japan Sunday.

Kyle Sleeth has certainly made the most of his selection to the United States National Team thus far. On Sunday, the Deacon pitcher showcased his talents on the mound leading Team USA to a 2-0 victory over Japan.

The National Team moved to 4-1 on the season as Sleeth threw a complete game two-hit shutout. The second team All American was 14-0 for the Demon Deacons this year with a 2.97 ERA.

Sleeth, who just finished his Sophomore season at Wake Forest, has now pitched 16 scoreless innings and picked up two wins for the U.S. National Team. In those 16 innings, Sleeth has allowed only 7 total hits.
