McClain Still Listing Wake

The D.C. Assault AAU team is as loaded as the come this year, with Michael Beasley, Nolan Smith and Austin Freeman leading the way. However, there are a bunch of other guys on their team that are very talented. Anthony McClain fits that description. He is a guy that is much improved from last year and schools are starting to pay him more attention.

At the King James Shooting Stars Classic, Anthony McClain played well around the rim and played the roll of garbage man for Curtis Malone's team. McClain has been working on his post moves and hopes to show them off a little more.

"For this team yeah," he said when asked about being the teams garbage man. "But I can also post up. I just want to do what helps us win."

Schools are taking notice of his improved play. With his size at 7-foot, it's no wonder that schools like Georgia, Kansas State, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and Maryland are showing him a good amount of interest.

"A lot of good schools are after me. I got to start taking some visits to see where I feel comfortable at."

Over the weekend McClain said that he would like to take visits to Wake Forest, Maryland and Pittsburgh some time soon. He also mentioned that he would like to have a decision by the end of the summer. There is one school that sticks out for him, but he won't reveal who it is.

"I'm liking a lot of schools. But I pretty much know where I'm going to go. But I'm just going to wait. I'm going to keep it a secret."
