Jackson Holds Deacon Offer

Linebacker prospect Kyle Jackson is starting to see his stock rise a bit on his summer camp tour. Jackson has offers from Mississippi State, Wake Forest and Ball State, but it appears some other schools are evaluating Kyle to see if he could fit into their system.

"Stanford got my transcript yesterday, so we will see what happens with them. Clemson got my highlight tape on the 26th, so hopefully they will be reviewing it soon," said Jackson.

Jackson is not just sitting around the house waiting on a text message or phone call. He is still out there trying to get noticed.

"I will be at Georgia Tech July 14th for 7-on-7 camp. I will be at Florida on July 21st for their camp and that will be it for the summer," said Jackson.

Kyle has some high hopes for the season and has one game on the schedule he is especially excited about.

"We have a good shot at winning our region. We're bringing virtually everybody back on defense and offense. We are playing Parkview this year. They have Caleb King there. There are a big name program and we have them the third game of the year," said Jackson.
