Teague Sets Wake Forest Visit

With three visits down, Jeff Teague is set to visit Wake Forest in 10 days. DeaconSports spoke to the 55th ranked prospect and has the scoop!

Following the summer blow up, Jeff Teague has fielded calls from a bunch of new high major schools. Among the new schools showing interest are Washington, Kansas State, Iowa State and Kansas. However, it looks like Teague is going to stick with the schools that were after him before the summer.

"I would have to say Wake Forest, Indiana, Boston College, Southern Illinois and Xavier," Teague said when asked for his top schools.

"I got to know them before I went to Vegas and before I went to ABCD camp so I'm going to stick with them because they were here before anybody and they had me in their best interest."

Teague has already been Xavier, Indiana and Southern Illinois and he also has a tentative visit set up to visit Boston College this coming weekend. Then he'll take an official visit to Wake Forest on August 24th.

"I'm going to go by myself," Teague said about his trip to Wake Forest. "I like them a lot and Coach Prosser is a real good coach. I'm very interested in Wake Forest."

While on his Wake Forest he'll specifically pay attention to the Wake Forest players and try and get a feel for the atmosphere on campus.

"All of the schools are real good schools so that's not a problem, but I'm probably going to look at the style of play and how I get along with the guys."

The 6-1, 170-pounder said he will decided between the schools in his top five and will likely come to a decision at the beginning of September.
