"It was a good visit," Wright said. "It was a nice school. I visited campus and I saw the gym, the practice gym and the locker room. Then I went to the football game."
Prior to heading off for the football game Wright got a chance to sit down with the coaching staff and have some questions answered. Wright came away impressed with the most with Coach Prosser's graduation rate.
"I talked to the coaches too. Before we started we talked to the coaches about the school and how coach has a 100-percent graduation rate for his seniors and [we talked about] how good the program is."
This past summer Wright played AAU ball with Boo Williams' 16 and unders and he got the opportunity to play at the Nike Hoop Jamboree. At the Jamboree, which invites a number of top underclassmen, Wright got a chance to play a new position.
"I'm more like of a floor player and I can play at the top of the press," he said. "I also block a lot of shots. I can play the post and I can shoot a little bit. I don't really do a lot of dribbling, but when I went to Nike Camp I was playing the three. I held my own at Nike Camp playing the three."
Overall Wright thought it was a great summer and hopes next summer will be even more successful.
"It was a great year. We should have finished better - hopefully next year will be better. I did good and my defense was alright, but I did a good job scoring."
