At 6-feet and 192 pounds, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas standout wide receiver Floyd Reddick recently attended a summer camp at the University of Pittsburgh and came away very impressed.
"I loved the atmosphere around the campus at Pittsburgh," he said. "I really enjoyed meeting the coaches and spending the time in the city. It's a real nice place and it's definitely somewhere that I could enjoy playing at, and plus a friend of mine named Roosevelt Bynes plays there. They're my favorite right now."
The talented wide receiver had several spring recruiting calls. "Pittsburgh called, Wake Forest, Rutgers, Boston College, and Marshall," he said. "Only FIU has offered, but the others told me they'll watch my first two or three games this season then offer."
Reddick, a full academic qualifier, talked about some of his other favorites.
"I also like Rutgers a lot," he said. "I have family there and plus I know some kids going there. I grew up with Marcus Fayson and he's going there. I also like Boston College because of the atmosphere there. They have a good tradition and they have a winning program."
Reddick said he plans on taking official visits to those three schools as well as N.C. State and Wake Forest.
