Grant Names Favorite

Uriah Grant is one of the top defensive line prospects in South Florida this year and the Everglades High standout talked about the latest.

"I've just been working out and staying inside the weight room since our season ended," Uriah Grant said. "Now I'm trying to figure out what's happening in recruiting." Grant, 6-foot-1 and 245 pounds, said one school stands out above the rest right now.

"Wake Forest is at the top," he said. "I really like their style of defense. Everyone picked them as one of the worst teams in the ACC before the season and now they're playing for a conference championship. I love how their defense flies around. I'm trying to set up a visit with them."

The talented defensive lineman, who had visits scheduled with Wisconsin and South Carolina, said he's only hearing from three other schools on a regular basis, in addition to Wake.

"I'm still talking to Rutgers, Wisconsin, and Missouri," he said. "I'm taking the SAT this Saturday and once I have that done, I'll set up all my visits."
