Florida DB Loved Visit

Akeem Auguste is one of the top cornerback prospects in the state of Florida and the Chaminade standout talked about the latest.

"I went up to West Virginia for a visit," Akeem Auguste said. "It was real nice. I liked it a lot. I visited the campus, chilled with the players, and met the coaches."

Auguste, 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, said the most impressive part of the trip to Morgantown was the people there.

"Everyone there is really cool," he said. "The players were fun to chill with and it felt like a good environment to be in. J.T. Thomas was my host and I like him a lot."

The talented cornerback, who had previously taken a visit to Pittsburgh, has a trip to South Carolina lined up for this coming weekend.

"After that, I'm not sure," he said. "I wanna keep an eye on Wake Forest. Florida State's in there too."

Auguste has had a couple in-home visits already and is scheduled for a third one in the next few days.

"West Virginia and South Carolina came and Wake Forest is coming this week," he said. "It's all even.
