Orange Bowl: Game Notes - Second Half

• Wake Forest drove 52-yards in their first drive of the third quarter in 3 plays and scored on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Riley Skinner to Nate Morton to tie the score at 10.

• Wake Forest's touchdown from Riley Skinner to Nate Morton was Wake Forest's first touchdown in over 100 minutes of play, a span of six full quarters.

• Late in the third quarter, Lou Groza award winner Art Carmody missed just his 4th field goal of the season.

• Chris DeGeare left the game in the 3rd quarter and did not return to the game due to his ankle injury

• After opening the game with just 130 1st half yards, Wake Forest put up 191 yards in the 3rd quarter

• On the 2nd play of the fourth quarter, Sam Swank hit a 36-yard field goal to put the Deacs up 13-10. Swank's field goal was 23rd made field goal of the season.

• Tuesday was the 12th time in Jon Abbate's 35 career games that he has posted double digit tackles.

• 74,470 was the official attendance at the 73rd annual FedEx Orange Bowl
