Position: FS
High School: West Forsyth HS
(Clemmons, NC)

Signing day plans
I'm going to sign in the morning and fax it over. I'm going to get my picture and all done around 4 for all the newspapers. We'll probably do it with Kyle and a teammate and have our families there.

Why he chose Wake Forest
Kyle had made his decision and we had always been friends. It was always me looking at [Wake Forest] hard but I wanted to see what was out there first. I always liked Wake and in the end I liked that the school was local, the family atmosphere, the coaches, and that I could have a chance to play early.

Other schools recruiting him before he committed
N.C. State, Clemson, and North Carolina

On what he is working on
I'm still working on getting my weight up. I'm close to 200 pounds now. That and getting stronger in the weightroom.

On teammate and friend Kyle Jarrett, another WFU signee
He's got great speed and size. He's gotten a lot bigger and is about 225 now and runs about a 4.5. That's awesome for his size. He's got a great nose for the football and is a hitter.

Awards from his senior season
I was conference defensive Player-of-the-Year; voted to the All-Northwest team [from the Winston-Salem Journal,] and was All-Conference all four years.
