FL TE Visits Winston-Salem

Over the years, The Bolles School (FL) has sent a host of players to Wake Forest on football scholarships. This year may be no exception as several prospects from The Bolles School are interested in Wake Forest. This past weekend, tight end Mike Triglia visited Wake Forest for the Demon Deacons' Spring Game.

"Wake was awesome though," Mike Triglia said. "It was real pretty up there. Real nice facilities, the coaches were awesome – it was a great place. They gave us a tour, not around the school, but mainly the football facility and where students go for study hall and tutoring. They showed us the weightroom and film room – they were top notch."

"I got to talk to Coach Elrod," Triglia continued. "He's the tight end coach and recruits [Bolles School teammate] Scott [Betros.] He comes to Bolles and he'll be down in the spring and if I have a good spring, you know, I could get an offer. I gave him my film and if he likes it we'll see what happens in the spring."

Triglia also enjoyed his experience at the spring game. "It was cool," he noted. "The stadium is getting rebuilt for Wake Forest so they had it on their practice field. We were standing with the other recruits having a good time. The team looks good and most of the defensive players are back so they will be good."

Along with Wake Forest, Triglia is hearing from a host of other schools and has another visit set up this weekend. "I've heard from a few schools," Triglia noted. "We're going up to Illinois [this] weekend. They're the most interested right now. I'm talking to Duke, South Carolina a little bit, not as much as others, then Marshall, and some stuff from Army."

At this point, Illinois is showing the most interest in Triglia. "I text their coach almost every week," he said. "They've seen my film and like what they see. They'll be down in the spring also so they may offer then."

"I'm open with everything. I'm going on the trips to see what I like and I'll work hard to impress schools this spring."
