North Carolina wide receiver Damien Linson has gotten off to a great start in the 2002 season. With 480 yards and 7 touchdowns in his first four games, Linson is showing college coaches he has talent. Linson currently lists Wake in his top five.
Damien Linson was one of the most productive players in North Carolina last year at wide receiver, and he has picked up where he left off from last year. "We're 2-2 right now," said Linson. "I have 35 catches for 480 yards and 7 touchdowns so far." When asked if he has gotten any returns Linson answered with a laugh "No one has punted me the ball yet."
Linson displayed some of the crispest routes and the best hands at the Nike Camp in Chapel Hill that included stand out wide receivers Mike Mason and Travis Lee.
He is waiting on his first scholarship offer and is currently wide open. "I like NC State, ECU, Virginia, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech; really, I like a bunch of schools right now."
Linson put up over 1,600 yards receiving last year, and he is on pace for another standout season.
