"I really like the academics at Wake a lot," he explained. "I love their coaches too. Those are the two main reasons I'm looking at them pretty hard. I've built a good relationship with their coaching staff, and I feel comfortable with them. I visited up there and the school is very nice. I don't have any favorites, but they're up there with everyone else.
"In terms of what I'm looking for, they look pretty good. The main thing I'll consider is whether I'm walking into a family atmosphere, or if the guys are all selfish and just worried about themselves. I know it's not like that up there."
Murray recently received offers from Indiana and South Florida. Those are added to a list that already includes Wake, Ole Miss, Maryland, UCF and Tulane.
Buford has traditionally operated out of the I-Formation, and will use more zone blocking this year. Murray believes that change will give him experience in another system that can only help at the next level.
"The month of June has been pretty slow so far," he said. "I get texts here and there, but there was a lot more going on last month. I'm just going to take some visits later on and see what happens. I'll make my decision at the end of my season."
Murray plans on going to USF and UCF next Friday and Saturday.
