Murray Has Wake in Top Two

Running back Demetris Murray recently attended a couple of camps and came back with a top two in mind.

The 5-11, 205-pound back from Buford, GA got a chance to check out South Florida and UCF. He spoke with about his experience.

"I had a really nice time at both schools," he said. "Both campuses were real nice and the coaches were good too. I'd say I liked South Florida more though."

While he thinks highly of both schools, only South Florida has landed a spot in his top two. Wake Forest is his other top option.

"Wake is right up there with South Florida. I took an unofficial there a while back and I really liked it up there. I'm still open to other schools getting involved, but that's my top two right now.

"I'll probably wait until my officials to go anywhere else," said Murray. "I think I'll end up taking two or three officials before I make my decision at the end of the season."

Murray runs the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds and has the ability to beat linebackers to the corner or run between the tackles. As a junior at Buford he had 142 carries for 1,090 yards and 20 touchdowns.
