Williams performed well while in Blacksburg, impressing the coaches in a variety of drills and workouts.
"We got up and worked out in the morning, running the 40 and doing agility drills - stuff like that. Then we had lunch then went back outside for another workout. I played receiver on offense and corner on defense, and we had some one on one drills."
"Altogether I think I did real well," he continued. "The defensive backs coach liked me a lot and we got to know each other real well. I met with Coach Beamer [and] my dad after the camp and [Beamer] told me they were offering me."
Prior to the weekend Williams had offers from Wake Forest, Virginia and Duke, and seemed convinced that Wake Forest was the school to beat. That's no longer the case, according to Williams.
"Right now I'd probably say Virginia Tech is the school to beat. Wake Forest is right up there with them, but Virginia Tech, man. It's a beautiful school. I just like everything about it."
Williams plans on announcing his decision before his senior season.
