Tereshinski Talks Football

DeaconSports spoke with Wake Forest verbal commitment John Tereshinski about his season as well as his future plans. Tereshinski's Athens Academy squad is currently 2-2 on the season.

Wake Forest football verbal commitment John Tereshinski has helped his Athens Academy squad to a 2-2 record early in the season. DeaconSports talked with Tereshinski Tuesday night to find out the latest with his season.

"[The season's] going pretty well," Tereshinski noted. "We're 2-2 right now coming off a big loss two weeks ago to Lincoln County. We had an off week last week which helped us out game this Friday against Franklin and need a team effort."

Tereshinski also said that he is playing well at times this season and not as well on other occasions. "Right now, I'm playing off and on," he said. "I didn't play too well personally last game and that hurt the team a little bit, but hopefully I can do my job later in the season."

Right now, Tereshinski is playing both tight end and defensive end for Athens Academy. However, the Wake Forest coaching staff plans to use Tereshinski as a tight end.

While committed to Wake Forest, Tereshinski will still make one more visit - Vanderbilt. "I'm going to go up and visit Vanderbilt," Tereshinski noted. "I'll take my official to Wake Forest too. I'm still committed to Wake Forest, though."
