WR Douglass Wide Open

Jonesboro, Georgia star wide receiver Harry Douglass is off to a good start in 2002. The speedy receiver says he is wide open in his recruitment.

Harry Douglass is a lightning quick wide receiver that has helped lead a surprising Jonesboro team to a 3-1 record. This season, Douglass has caught 14 passes for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jonesboro has a big region game this weekend vs. Warner Robins.

Douglass has been busy attending several games for unofficials this fall. So far he has gone to Georgia/Clemson, South Carolina/Georgia, Florida/Miami, and Auburn Syracuse.

"I've been to a bunch of games on unofficials," said Douglass, "but I don't have any official visits set up yet. I still have a verbal offer from Georgia, and I'm looking at other teams like Indiana, Louisville, ECU, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, and Tulane. So, I'm pretty wide open."

Douglass is an excellent student athlete that has already posted a 1090 on his SAT. While he has the physical ability to play corner as well as wide receiver, his first love is offense. "Ohio State talked with me a little bit about playing corner, but I like offense better."
