Jones Still Committed

DeaconSports caught up with Wake Forest verbal commit Jeromy Jones this week concerning his 2002 season. Jones talked about his season as well as his visit plans.

6-3 265 pound defensive tackle Jeromy Jones is rated the 82nd best defensive tackle nationally. DeaconSports caught up with Jones and briefly spoke with him about his season.

"The season's going great," Jones noted. "We're 3-2 overall. I'm playing OK, I guess. I'm playing tackle on offense and defensive end on defense." Jones told DeaconSports that he did not know how many tackles he has on the season, however.

Jones told DeaconSports that he is still committed to Wake Forest. He also noted that he will likely only take one more visit – his official visit to Wake Forest. "I'm still not sure when I'll go up for my official visit," Jones said. "We're still talking about it."

Jones's Wheeler High School squad will face off with Kennesaw Mountain this weekend at home.
