Leron Eaddy has been a key player for River Hill High School for the past two seasons. He was named first team all-state last season after he tallied 113 tackles and two interceptions. During his sophomore season, Eaddy racked up 94 tackles and three sacks to go along with one interception.
Eaddy plays both strong safety and outside linebacker for River Hill and his versatility is just one of strengths. "I think my versatility helps me a lot. I also have good quickness and power and I love to hit."
After two very productive seasons, Eaddy has seen his recruitment pick up. "I visited Penn State last Saturday. I have also visited Syracuse and Pitt recently and I [am] visiting UConn this weekend and Wake Forest on April 19th for their spring game. At this point I would say Pitt and Syracuse are after me the hardest and may be close to offering."
As far as the Demon Deacons are concerned, Eaddy had nothing but positive things to say. "I visited Wake during the football season and I really liked it. I was very impressed with their coaches. They are very down to earth. I also like the fact that Wake is a smaller school."
Eaddy also made it clear he would love to play with his good friend, Michael Campanaro, at the next level. "Mike and I have been through a whole lot together the past few years. We have talked about how great it would be if we could play college ball together. I am looking forward to going with Mike to Wake's spring game."
The summer camp circuit could be very big for Eaddy and go a long way in determining where he ends up. "Most of the schools are recruiting me as a safety and have said they want to see me at camp this summer. I will be at Wake's camp in June and I am just getting ready for that. I am lifting weights and just trying to get bigger. I am also working hard on improving my 40 time." Eaddy also stated he wants to get his recruitment over as soon as possible so he can enjoy his senior season.
