Eaddy Enjoys Wake Spring Game

Leron Eaddy is a player that Wake Forest is keeping a close eye on. The strong safety from River Hill High School was able to visit Wake recently for their spring game. DeaconSports.com spoke with Eaddy recently to get his thoughts on the trip.

With three seniors starting in the secondary this season, there is no doubt that Wake Forest will be looking to add a few defensive backs in their '09 class. One player that may fit the bill is Leron Eaddy. Eaddy, a teammate of Wake Forest commit Mike Campanaro, visited recently and is no doubt interested in the Demon Deacons.

"I had a great experience at Wake for their spring game," said Eaddy. "I really enjoyed meeting Coach White and Coach Lambert. I also got to see my best friend Mike Campanaro commit to them which was great."

Eaddy said that he has no offer from Wake yet but they will be watching him closely. "So far, the coaches have told me they really want me to come to camp so they can see me live. So I plan on being at camp on June 8th."

At this point in his recruitment, Eaddy has two leaders. "I would say that Wake Forest and Syracuse are my two leaders. I really like Wake because everyone there is so down to earth. I also like the fact it is a smaller school. The thing I like about Syracuse is the fact that everything is close together and easy to get to."

Eaddy will participate in a Nike combine before heading to Wake in June for camp. Eaddy is a hard hitting safety that has good instincts for the game. If he impresses at camp, don't be surprised if the Demon Deacons turn up the heat on him.
