"Right now, I'm on top of my game," Anthony said. "I've passed 1000 yards rushing in the regular season, accomplishing that goal. I'm playing pretty well right now. Us playing together as a team is helping us win, though.
"This season, I've had probably about ten-yards per carry. I've carried no more than 8-10 times per game and have averaged no less than 83-yards rushing per game."
Anthony's running has helped Carver obtain home field advantage heading into the playoffs. Carver is currently 10-0-1 with the tie coming against Mount Tabor. Carver will take on Asheville Irwin this Friday in the first round of the playoffs.
After his playoff game, Anthony tells DeaconSports that he will head over to Wake Forest for an official visit. "It'll be late Friday night or early Saturday when we go for our visit. Matthew Brim is supposed to be coming with me." Anthony also said that teammate Isaiah "Puff" Thomas may take a visit to Wake Forest this weekend as well. "I haven't really talked with him about it," Anthony said.
Stay tuned to DeaconSports.com after this weekend for more on the Carver trio of Monte Anthony, Matt Brim, and Isaiah Thomas.
