Moe Has Four Big Offers

T.J. Moe, a 6'0 180 pound safety from Missouri, has received four big-time offers including one recently from Wake Forest. DeaconSports.com recently spoke with Moe about his recruitment and his thoughts on the Wake Forest program.

T.J. Moe has seen his recruitment pick up lately and he isn't complaining. "Things are real fun right now. I had two early offers from Missouri and Kansas. Then I had a bit a a lull until two weeks ago when Wake Forest offered. Coach Billings came by and I was told I had a offer on the table which was exciting. I also received a offer from Wisconsin recently."

Even though he has not visited Wake, Moe knows a lot about their program. "I know the academics at Wake are top notch which is important to me. i know they also won the ACC a couple of years ago and they went 9-4 last season with a bowl win so they obviously play good football in addition to having great academics."

When asked what made him such a great safety prospect, Moe responded, "My quickness is big for me. I ran a 3.87 shuttle at the Army combine which was the best there. As a safety, I need to be quick and cover a lot of ground. Also, I think I am smart on and off the field which helps. I know where I need to be on the field and I have good reaction time."

Although location will be a factor for Moe, he still has Wake on his list and will visit this summer. "Location will be somewhat of a factor. I am close with my family. Wake is the furthest school from home I am considering. It is about a two hour plane ride from home but I am still considering them because of their high academics and football success. I plan on visiting them this summer."

At this point, Moe claims Missouri as his leader because he is very familiar with the program and has visited there on multiple occasions. In addition, Moe has not visited Wake Forest or Wisconsin and he stated he wants to do that before making a decision. Moe plans on making a decision before the start of his senior season.

Moe is a intelligent player both on and off the field and is a true student athlete. He hold a 4.0 GPA and academics are very important to him.
