"The process is going good right now. I am up to 13 offers now and I am planning my summer visits," said Green. "I have offers from Alabama, Wake, Arkansas, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky, Ohio State, Miami, Illinois, Tennessee, and some others."
Green has begun to sort out all of his options but maintains Wake Forest is in the thick of things. "I am definitely interested in Wake. One of our alumni from Male, Chris Barclay, went to Wake and I saw what he did there and all the success he had at Wake. I think about how well I would fit in at Wake and in their system. I know Chris really enjoyed his time there and the coaches looked out for him at Wake. It would be nice to follow his footsteps."
Green is being recruited at a variety of positions which is fine with him. "Some teams want me as a DB, some as a running back, and some schools are just recruiting me as a athlete. Wake is recruiting me as a running back but I have no preference as far as what position I play in college."
Although Green is a long way from making a college choice, he knows what he is looking for in a school. "I want to go and play for a good clean program that does not have a lot of problems. I am looking for a place that has good people and a family atmosphere."
This weekend Green will travel to Alabama for camp and the following weekend he will be taking a trip to Ohio State. Green also mentioned he plans on visiting Wake in late July or early August. He plans on making his college choice sometime in December or January.
