Crawford Holding With Two Offers

C.J. Crawford has been hitting the camp circuit hard this summer. The 6'2, 200 pound athlete recently shared his thoughts about his recruitment and interest in Wake Forest.

C.J. Crawford is a pure athlete. With his combination of size and speed, he can play multiple positions onthe field. He has been on the move this summer with visits and camps in an effort to prove to college coaches he is a top notch player.

"I have been busy this summer," said Crawford. "I have camped at Marshall and Kentucky and also went to Penn State for Nike camp. I was also at a 7-on-7 camp yesterday."

As far as his recruitment goes, Crawford said not much has changed. "I have offers from Wake and Marshall at this point. Not much has changed with my recruitment lately."

Wake Forest offered Crawford early and he still likes the Deacs. "I really like Wake a lot," he said. "They were the first team to offer me which is important. I was there for the spring game and my mom and I both like it at Wake. I just want to wait a bit longer before making a decision."

Crawford will be making another trip to Winston-Salem on July 13th for camp. "I will be at Wake's camp in July. The coaches have told me they will work me out at safety and receiver when I am there. I have no preference what position I play in college. I just want to play."

Crawford said he may not make a decision until after his high school season. He also claims he is not waiting on a specific team to offer and he just want to take his time with a decision.
