Wake Forest will likely have at least five scholarships available for the class of 2010 and one of the first players they targeted for that class is J.T. Terrell. Terrell, already one of the best players in a loaded 2010 class in North Carolina, has continued to work hard on his game this summer.
"I think I have played good this summer," said Terrell. "I think my best events so far have been the Carolina Challenge and the NBPA camp. I have worked hard on my all around game this summer. I am working on my handle and my consistency on my jumper. I have also worked a lot on my ability to penetrate and create for myself and teammates."
Now that coaches are able to call 2010 prospects, Terrell's phone has been ringing quite a bit. "I received calls from Wake, Charlotte, UVA, Miami, Clemson, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and others," he said. As far as offers go, "that is still the same," he noted. "Wake, UVA, Charlotte and Miami have offered."
Terrell said he is planning to make a decision around the time of his next event which is Peach Jam later this month. He also claimed no favorite at this point.
Terrell would be a exciting start to the 2010 class for coach Dino Gaudio and his staff. He is a player that continues to work hard to improve his already impressive game and will continue to get better and better.
