Brendan Cross was very impressive during camp last weekend at Wake Forest. He displayed a strong arm, good accuracy and timing on his throws and nice mechanics. Cross seemed to really enjoy the camp and felt he preformed well.
"I really liked the camp and how it was ran," said Cross. "I was able to throw a lot of balls and we did quite a bit of individual work. I thought I threw the ball well and on time, I had good timing with some of the receivers there."
Cross was also able to see some of the campus and facilities at Wake and was impressed. "I really liked the campus and facilities. The campus is a bit smaller than some other schools which I have no problem with at all. I also saw the new luxury boxes and renovations they are doing to their field and they are real sweet."
When asked if Wake would be high on his list if they offered, Cross responded that the Demon Deacons would certainly be under heavy consideration. "Yes, I would consider Wake very highly," he noted. "They are very high on my list. Wake has a great program as well as great academics which is very important to me and my family."
Cross also indicated he should get a call back this week from the Wake coaches and he hoped "things will work out for the best."
