The recruitment of Nate Lubick has taken off this summer. He was able to showcase his skills on the AAU circuit this summer and helped lead his team to plenty of wins. "The summer went real well," said Lubick. "The team went 30-5 and I felt I really improved as a player this summer thanks to my coaches."
As far as his recruitment goes, Lubick has plenty of offers in hand courtesy of his big summer. "I hear the most from Michigan, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Virginia, Wake Forest and UCLA," he noted. "All of those teams have offered."
Lubick has seen more and more interest from Wake Forest over the last few months as the AAU season went on. "Wake started to get involved this spring. Coach Battle began recruiting at that time and since then I have talked to Coach Gaudio five or six times. I know Wake has great academics and I plan on learning more about them when I visit this fall."
When asked what makes him such a good prospect, Lubick responded, "I think coaches see me as a competitor that plays hard and smart all the time. I hate losing and constantly strive to get better. Also, I think I am versatile and have the ability to play inside and out."
Lubick also mentioned he had no timeframe for his decision and he will make it when the time is right.
