Lee Talks About Wake Visit

DeaconSports spoke with Tampa receiver Greg Lee Sunday night about his recruitment. Lee spoke highly of the Deacon program but will still take visits to other top schools including Missouri.

Greg Lee accompanied his teammate Sean Dixon to Wake Forest on December 6 for an official visit. Dixon told DeaconSports that he loved his visit to Wake – and Lee definitely had the same reaction.

"I liked it at Wake," Lee said. "It was cool up there. The players, school, coaches, area – all that was cool. I really liked it there.

Did he like it enough that he could play his college football there? "Oh yeah," Lee said. "I could definitely see myself playing at Wake Forest."

Currently, Lee has his choices down to Wake, Missouri and Georgia, although San Diego State still has a shot. "I'm going to visit Missouri in January," Lee said, "and I'll visit Georgia too. Right now, Wake Forest leads, though, but they were my first visit."

Meanwhile, other schools are still continuing to recruit the 6-3 wide receiver. "Pitt, Connecticut, Kansas State, Florida State, Iowa, Iowa State, and Minnesota are still showing me interest," Lee said. "Still, I'm really looking at Missouri, Wake Forest, and Georgia."

Stay tuned to DeaconSports in the coming weeks for the latest on Greg Lee.
