Allen Set To Decide

One of Wake Forest's primary targets in the class of 2010 will make his college decision on Monday afternoon at Pahokee High School in Florida. Zachary Allen told DeaconSports that he will decide between a host of schools including Wake Forest.

"I'm committing Monday afternoon at my high school," said Zachary Allen, a big-time linebacker out of Pahokee High School. "I'm looking Wake, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Vandy, and West Virginia."

Allen, who has favored Wake Forest over the past few months, is set to decide the same day as teammate Merrill Noel who is deciding between Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Demon Deacons.

In the end, Allen has a host of different metrics factoring into his decision. "I look at the town, how the school is, how the players are treated, education, and location. I'm going somewhere I feel like I could be at home."

Although Allen would not narrow down his list further, he did comment on Wake Forest. "They're a great team, they're loving and care for their players. They have a good program. A couple of our players have been there and we have a good history at Wake Forest."
