Terry Commits!

Alpharetta, Georgia wide receiver Brandon Terry has all the tools to be a sensational college player. Terry is 6'5 and has a 40 time in the 4.4s and has a great work ethic. Terry earned a big offer after his camp performance yesterday and has decided to play his college ball in the ACC.

"I just wanted to call and let you know I committed to Wake," said Terry in a phone interview with DeaconSports.

"I first visited Wake a few weeks ago and at that time I didn't know much about them. I met Coach Knorr and he really made me feel welcome and I could tell he really cared about me. My two tour guides, Coach Po and Coach Adams gave me a great tour of Wake. It was much better than the ones I had been on at other schools. I got a real good feel for the school and the environment. The coaches at Wake just made me feel so welcome. Another big thing for me is that I wanted to find a place that had a good balance of high academics and football."

Terry earned his Wake Forest offer after a great performance at their camp on Sunday. "I think I did pretty well at camp but I know I can do better. I know once the season starts I will be ready to go. It was fun going one on one with the good DBs they had there."

Terry chose Wake over offers from Purdue, Wisconsin, Indiana, Mississippi State, UConn, and numerous other programs.

Terry looks like he will provide the Demon Deacons with a fantastic threat on the outside. He is a legit 6'5 1/2 and has a forty time in the 4.4s. He also has good good hands and is a very hard worker. Terry is a big addition to the 2010 class for Coach Grobe and his staff.
