Radley also took trips to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson while on the east coast. He received offers from the Heels and Gamecocks and expects to receive an offer from Clemson. At this point, he is also waiting to hear more from the Wake Forest coaches.
"Really, they had sent me some mail earlier in my junior year but nothing recently. When I went down there, I let them know I'm still interested in them. Coach Lobo and another coach said he likes me a lot and wants to offer, but he doesn't have the authority. He said tomorrow when they get in the office, they'll check my film and then they'll let me know."
According to Radley, the coaches were interested in him on both sides of the ball. "I talked to the offensive coaches about running back and wide receiver and I talked defensively about safety and corner but that's all unofficial right now." During his trip, he was able to meet a host of coaches including Coach Lobo and Coach Lambert as well as Graduate Assistants Napoleon Sykes and James Adams.
"They were great," he said, "and Wake Forest, I just loved it. It's a beautiful campus, it's nice and small. All the coaches are really cool. We watched some film offensively and defensively and how they would use me. They showed me where I would fit in."
While Radley will likely take some official visits, a Wake Forest offer would make his decision much tougher. "If they offer – well, I really like that school a lot," he said. "I don't have any favorites right now really, but they're on my short list."
