"It was good," explained Dixon of his visit to Louisville. "I had a lot of fun. Gavin [Smart] was my host. They offered while I was there, but I'm not ready to commit yet."
Dixon fits the profile of prospect profile of what head coach Bobby Petrino is searching for. He has been timed with a 4.4-40 speed. He recorded 6 interceptions and blocked four field goal attempts as a senior at Chamberlain High School in the Tampa, Florida area. He was named 1st team All-Tampa by the Tampa Bay Tribune, as well as being an All-Conference selection.
In addition to Louisville, Dixon has received offers Wake Forest, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Purdue.
So where do the Cardinals fit in?
"Right now it's pretty much between Wake Forest and Louisville," said Dixon. "I really like the program at Louisville and the new coaching staff. Wake Forest has a good program to and I like their academic program as well."
He visited Wake Forest on January 10 and plans to trip to Vanderbilt this weekend. He is also considering a visit to Purdue on January 31.
Dixon told ITV that he plans on waiting until just prior to the start of the signing period, which begins February 5th, to make his decision.
