Why did Robinson decide on Wake Forest?
"It just felt like the perfect fit. It wasn't the glitter because it was a midweek visit. I got to see what the players do and how they interact and I saw them workout in the weight room. I felt in my heart it was the place for me.
"Spending a day there I knew this was my place and didn't have a doubt in my mind," Robinson continued. "The way the coaches and players were was amazing. I get to be a part of something that's building. I honestly believe that we'll win an ACC championship before I leave Wake Forest."
Arby Jones hosted Robinson on his official visit. It was people like Jones and the aura of the campus that helped Robinson realize that Wake Forest was the ideal school for him. "The people up there like Arby are like the people I am. They're just deep down good people. Even the coaches are like that. They never lied through the whole process and that's the people I want to play for and the people I trust. It's a small campus and simple. That's the kind of person I am. I knew this was my fit. I'm real excited."
While Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Southern Miss were amongst a host of schools that offered Robinson a scholarship, the Georgia native will definitely be a Demon Deacon. He has cancelled his January 31st visit to Georgia Tech. "I'm done," Robinson said. "I've found my home and this is where I'm playing. I don't care who comes in and wants to talk to me, this is where I'm playing."
