Recruits Watch WFU Down UNC

Two Wake Forest commitments, one from the class of 2003 and one from the class of 2004, and two more top prospects, from the class of 2005, were in attendence at the Joel Coliseum Wednesday night. Those high school basketball stars watched Wake defeat North Carolina 75-60.

Wake Forest hosted a good number of recruits last night at the UNC game. Although the game tipped off at 9:00, at least four potential recruits were in attendance. Deacon signee Chris Paul (03) and verbal commitment Cameron Stanley (04) were both in attendance, sitting together.

Also in attendance were a pair of big-time players from the class of 2005. Kevin Swinton, a forward from Dudley High School in Greensboro was in attendance. Swinton is one of the top players from the class of 2005 in North Carolina. He also visited Wake Forest for the Virginia game.

Mitch Mullis was the other big-time 2005 player that we have confirmed was in attendance last night. Mullis, a lifelong Wake fan, also attended the Duke and Virginia games this season at the Joel. He has been asked to visit N.C. State this weekend for the NCSU-WFU game.
