"A lot will depend on his senior year," Coach Cloninger told DeaconSports. "It's hard to coach someone who is 6'6 300 and can run. You don't coach that natural ability." Obviously Rogers has some big-time potential.
Does coach Cloninger believe that Rogers has a chance to play at the college level? "I think he will get the opportunity to do it on the next level," Cloninger said. "I think if he has a great senior season, he'll have some options. Of course, like most guys his size, he's got to turn up his intensity a little bit."
"He's heard from several schools in the ACC," Coach Cloninger said. "And he will keep getting more and more interest if he will work hard in the next few months."
