"I want to play quarterback and I know I can play it," said Lee. "I can't wait for the season to start so I can prove a lot of the doubters wrong. This is my second year playing quarterback and I feel like I am going to have a great season."
With offers from Wake Forest,Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Duke, Maryland, South Carolina and others, Lee has a tough decision on his hands. One school he recently visited for the first time was Wake Forest.
"I visited Wake recently and overall it was a great visit. I toured all of the facilities and got to spend a lot of time with Coach Russ. I was also able to talk with Coach Grobe which was great. He is a really cool guy. I like his style. He seems to be a father figure to his player and after talking with him I see why. He is really easy to talk to and makes you feel very welcome."
Lee knew what to expect on his visit, yet was still surprised by some aspects of Wake Forest.
"I was really impressed by the academics at Wake. I want to major in business and Wake has a great business school. The campus was also really beautiful."
The recruiting process has gone on quite awhile for Lee and is now beginning to wind down.
"I am getting closer to a decision. I just want to make sure I find the right fit for the next four or five years of my life. I am not going to commit somewhere and then de-commit later in the year...[I] plan on visiting Wake again soon. I may also visit Georgia Tech one more time."
Lee originally planned to make a decision on August 7th and that still may be the case.
"Don't be surprised if I decide on August 7th. I just want to be 100% sure of my decision before I make it though. I would like to get it done before my season starts but I will hold off if I don't find the right fit."
Lee indicated Wake Forest wants him as a quarterback which is the position he wants to play in college. Lee would be a huge pick up for the Demon Deacons and would give them a true dual threat quarterback that is a threat to run or pass on every down.
